Strive4HigherEd is a program that provides  middle school and high school students the opportunity to participate  in both academic and social experiential learning.  Our students attend  high school fairs and open houses, go on college tours and learn about  non-traditional careers.  Additionally, we attend events that expose  students to different activities which helps them develop into  well-rounded individuals.

Greetings  and welcome to Exposed Books Publishing. Our goal here at Exposed Books  Publishing is not only to write books, but to turn new authors into  great authors. Exposed Books owner Leslie Crawford released her first  book in 2010 and many more to follow. In 2013 Exposed Books Publishing,  LLC was created. Leslie created her publishing company to initially  publish her own book. Years later Leslie made the decision to help other  authors write and publish their own book. Exposed Books is a registered  company in the state of Maryland.

My Story

    My name is Steffanie Thomas and I am a DONA trained birth doula. I have a  passion for holistic, healthy living and I know that it starts at  birth. My purpose in life is to work with families to ensure that they  have the best possible start on their new journey.
 

     I am blessed to be a mother to two amazing young boys. Through raising  them, I have come to know the benefits of holistic living and truly  taking care of one's body. After my youngest son's birth, I felt the  calling to help women truly enjoy this magical time of pregnancy and  birth. Now that my own children have grown, I knew it was time for me to  begin my journey as a doula and expand my mothering outside of my own  home.
 

     Family is of utmost importance to me and my free time is spent with my  SO, our boys, and our dog. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking,  camping, and fishing. We also love to play board games, drink tea, do  yoga, and laugh!
 

My Mission

     The magnolia flower represents strength, dignity, and perseverance. This  is what I help families bring to their birth. Babies and mothers  intrinsically know what to do during the birthing process. I am there to  provide them the reassurance and tools they need to birth as they were  meant.
 

I am also there to help families embark on a journey of a healthy and  mindful pregnancy. I teach the benefits of being prepared for your  optimal birth long before setting foot into the birthing space. And I  also help partners connect deeply during the pregnancy. The most  important person in the room with the birthing mother is their partner,  as only they can bring the magic of love and deep connection into the  birthing space. I teach partners how to support the mother during  pregnancy and labor, so that they can take the place that they need to  when the time comes.
 

I am blessed to have such an amazing calling and look forward to helping your family start a new chapter in your lives!

My interest in real estate emerged in the late-90s when I started  entertaining the thought of real estate investing. After purchasing two  properties in 2001 through a trusted real estate broker and mortgage  broker, I found myself in a precarious situation in which I had been  taken advantage of. This experience left me somewhat disillusioned and  embarrassed. I was embarrassed because I was an educated woman who had  purchased property before but not realizing that there was so much that I  didn’t know. I thought, “WOW” if this happened to me, what’s happening  to other people. From that moment on, I vowed to do everything in my  power to be an advocate for my clients, to educate them to make informed  home buying and selling decisions.

I obtained my Realtor’s license in 2002 and began practicing real  estate. Each time I helped an individual or family, my passion grew. At  the time, I was working full-time in software sales and part-time in  real estate but I was determined to empower individuals to make wise  decisions and achieve their real estate goals.

In 2005, after obtaining my Broker’s license, I took a leap of faith  and left the corporate world behind. I opened a boutique agency, Gillian  Cunningham Realty Group, which I operated for four years until the  economic downturn took its toll on the industry. From 2009 to 2015, I  provided client services as a Broker Associate with two other real  estate firms.

In 2016, I made the move back to independent and relaunched, Gillian  Cunningham Realty Group. My team and I are ecstatic to be able to offer  clients the same great service and real estate experience we’ve provided  over the years All designed with the client in mind.

In serving my clients, I take great pride in my strong work ethic,  negotiation skills and commitment to excellent customer service. My  mission is to provide clients with enough information to make their next  move their best move.
